Shah K. M. Law College, Valsad, organised a seminar on 24 June 2026 to observe the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The seminar was conducted by Prof. Ekta Tomar with the objective of creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the legal provisions under the NDPS Act. Students of LL.B. and LL.M. actively participated and discussed the social and legal challenges of substance abuse. The programme emphasised the role of educational institutions, families, and society in preventing drug addiction and illicit trafficking. The seminar concluded with a strong message encouraging students to promote a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.
